After the “era” June 4, 1989, Poland moved from first to last place among countries leading to “democratic transformations”.
Donald Tusk believes in magic. And that’s not surprising, because that’s all he’s got left. He still had magic spells. And dates that are also magical. And the most magical of the magical is the date of June 4. Then the chairman of the Civic Platform likes to convene witches’ sabbaths. June 4, 2023 will be no different.
I call on everyone to march in Warsaw on June 4 at noon. Against high prices, theft and lies, for free elections and a democratic, European Poland
Tusk wrote on Twitter.
The funniest thing in Tusk’s communiqué is the word “I’m calling.” In fact, it is extremely terrible and mean, as it reminds of the “I’m calling” the president of Warsaw Stefan Starzyński in September 1939. And parodying Starzyński in April 2023 is a disgrace. There’s also the equally horrific “High Noon,” a blatant parody of 1989’s “Solidarity” and its poster (by Tomasz Sarnecki) featuring Gary Cooper (from Fred Zinnemann’s classic Western “High Noon”).
As the helpful “Gazeta Wyborcza” explained, “the leader of the PO announced the march the day after the Sejm pushed through the appointment of a commission to investigate Russian influence.” And it is not about Russia, but about “the years of PO-PSL rule, and especially about Prime Minister Donald Tusk.” However, this intrepid sheriff is not afraid of anything: “I need no comfort, only your determination and belief in victory.” Contrary to what Michnik’s newspaper says, the law on the commission does not “look like it was written in the Kremlin”, but has a chance to reveal who has properly applied in the Kremlin and what is there for him is written. It is therefore not surprising that the former proponents of the reset and willing to give much credit to “Russia as it is” tremble.
The last witches’ sabbath was declared by Donald Tusk (probably with an increasingly broom in his face) in October 2021. Under the slogan completely off the hat (probably the so-called Lenin cap): “I stay in the Union.” As revealing as “I stay on Earth”, “I stay in the solar system”, “I stay in the Milky Way”. Michnik’s newspaper is pleased that “up to 100,000 people took part in it. participants” (probably along with brooms, hats and black cloaks).
It takes a long time until June 4 (in the case of PO and Tusk, the emphasis is on “joke”), so on Monday, April 17, 2023, there will be “a joint speech by Donald Tusk and Rafał Trzaskowski”. It is supposed to “reduce speculation and send a signal that the party has no intention of changing its leader”, and “Trzaskowski will get involved in the PO election campaign”. “The party has no intention” meaning Donald Tusk has no intention of changing Donald Tusk. Moving. However, the party is up to something, which is to “present the future electoral staff”. It is correct that the “future” could present the “past” team.
The preference for sabbaths on June 4, of course, has a historical basis (election June 4, 1989). It is also a tradition to specialize in the grotesque. Just like on June 4, 2019 in Gdańsk (on the “round” 30th anniversary), when Lech Wałęsa, Aleksander Kwaśniewski and Bronisław Komorowski performed side by side. Completed with mayors from the Anti-PiS front, former union bosses and selected court celebrities. It was then that the First Martyr of the Third Republic of Poland, actress Krystyna Janda, read the “Declaration of Freedom and Solidarity”. In addition, Krystyna Janda appeared as “we, the citizens of the Republic of Poland”.
Krystyna “Citizens of the Republic” Janda called for “free citizens, equal in rights and duties, not only to support each other in solidarity, but also to independently shape the future of both local communities and the whole country.” Towards “the prosperity of the Republic, the common home of all citizens.” At this point you could already shed tears of emotion, but in the end it was the best. Krystyna “Citizens of the Republic” Janda opted for “democracy without hateful disputes”, for “a public sphere free of lies”. On June 4, 2023, Krystyna gets a chance to surpass herself, because the “call”: Donald Tusk concerns her first.
During the next Sabbath, of course, no one will say that June 4 is related to the attack on the first democratically elected and free government after the first democratic and free elections since 1945, ie the government of Jan Olszewski, because Donald Tusk is one of the assassins . That the average Poles associate June 4 with injustice and new burdens imposed on them under the Sachs-Lipton Plan, known in Poland by the code name “Balcerowicz Plan”. That the Third Republic did not become New Poland after June 4, but PRL Plus: with Wojciech Jaruzelski as President of the Republic of Poland (first president of the People’s Republic of Poland), communists and communist generals in the government (until July 6, 1990).
After the “era” of June 4, 1989, Poland moved from first to last place in the hierarchy of countries, leading to “democratic transformations”. Tadeusz Mazowiecki’s government was mainly appointed by the communists who, together with their satellites, had a majority in the Sejm. And they had a majority stake in Mazowiecki’s cabinet, although formally holding only four positions. Generals Czesław Kiszczak and Florian Siwicki were more important in Mazowiecki’s government than the other ministers combined. And they had at their disposal the traitors to the civil and military security they controlled, quite numerous in that government and quite susceptible to blackmail and pressure.
Kiszczak and Siwicki were intensively engaged in transferring the most valuable possessions of the Polish People’s Republic to the Third Republic of Poland. To reassure them, they destroyed evidence of involvement in Communism’s worst practices, while obliterating evidence of Communist crimes against themselves or their colleagues. They also built a protective wall for the founding “works” of PRL Plus: companies, banks, television, newspapers, foundations and associations.
By December 1989 at the latest, there was no justification for not kicking the communists out of government, scrutinizing their interests, and not moving the most “drenched” to where they belonged, namely to courtrooms and prisons. None of that happened, because on June 4, 1989, freedom came, and it also meant a place for communists, secret policemen, thieves, cheaters, intriguers and liars.
Donald Tusk’s announcement of the next Sabbath on June 4, 2023 is not at all surprising, and under current regimes the communists, secret police, thieves, fraudsters and liars, i.e. modern “democrats”, are likely to be in charge again. Against “cost, theft and lies, for free elections and a democratic, European Poland.” If it weren’t disgusting, daring and intrusive (the immortal Szymek from Budziejowice bows), it would even be funny.
