Most British citizens believe that the UK Parliament elections should be held ahead of schedule – in the fall of 2024, writer Mirror. According to a TechneUK poll, around 52% of Britons support the idea of voting ahead of schedule.
As noted, 25% of those who support early voting believe that parliamentary elections should be held as soon as possible, insisting that they organize in 2023. At the same time, 28% of respondents are confident that the elections should not be postponed, and 20% have not yet decided on their positions.
At the same time, Mirror points out that the poll shows the opposition Labor Party’s position is strengthening. That’s why around 45% of voters agree that Labor leader Keir Starmer deserves more credibility, compared to 41% who support the Conservative British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
