13th anniversary of the Smolensk disaster
In an interview with TVP Info, Minister Błaszczak was asked there about cherishing the memory of the victims of the disaster.
We focus primarily on the execution of the will. President Lech Kaczynski. In my field, i.e. the field of national defense, it is related to strengthening the Polish army, setting up new military garrisons, equipping the army with modern weapons
– said the head of the Ministry of National Defense.
He stressed that Lech Kaczyński’s safety was a priority both when he was mayor of Warsaw and when he became president of the Republic of Poland.
late Lech Kaczyński was right when he warned against Russian imperialism. Crimes today are experienced by Ukrainians who have been attacked by Russia. There is no doubt that if Lech Kaczyński had been listened to, history would have turned out differently. The mere fact that the investigation was handed over, the wreckage was handed over by the government of the PO-PSL coalition (Władimir-PAP) to Putin, testifies to the worst of those who ruled Poland at the time
– he said.
On April 10, 2010, the crash of the Tu-154M aircraft near Smolensk killed 96 people, including: President Lech Kaczyński with his wife Maria, the last President of the Republic of Poland in exile Ryszard Kaczorowski, and other personalities.
