Attendees of the Arab ministerial meeting in Jeddah, in western Saudi Arabia, called for Syria to return to the “Arab bosom”. This was reported by the TV channel. Al Arabiya.

“The final statement of the consultation meeting in Jeddah calls for Syrian unity and a return to the Arab ranks,” the channel said.

Formerly Al-Ikhbariya TV channel knowledgeableThe Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and the United Arab Emirates are holding consultations in Jeddah on Syria’s return to the Arab League. The consultations are held on the basis of a settlement in relations with Syria.

Heads of diplomatic departments of Iraq, Jordan and Egypt also attended the meeting in Jeddah.

Faisal Mikdad, previously the Syrian Foreign Minister reached to Saudi Arabia for the first time since the severing of diplomatic relations.
