Mairead McGuinness, European Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability and Capital Markets, in an interview with a TV company CNBC The European Union announced that it is preparing to implement the 11th package of sanctions against Russia.
“Europe has brought 10 packages of sanctions. There will be another one,” McGuinness says, quoting CNBC.
He added that the next sanctions package will aim to combat attempts to circumvent restrictive measures. McGuinness stressed that the EU must make sure that there is no way for Russia to circumvent the sanctions.
On April 12, Canada imposed sanctions on 14 Russians and 34 entities. Among them are Evgeny Prigozhin’s Concorde, Ural Civil Aviation Plant, Rybinsk Instrument Production Plant JSC, Lipetsk Mechanical Plant LLC and others.
