I have no doubts or illusions: American and Polish politics have been and will continue to be torn by ideological strife. This “culture war” is a real tragedy for the West and weakens it greatly, but there is nothing we can do about it except defend common sense.
However, against this background, it is worth noting the growth of the category of interest in world politics. President Macron, the king of progress and human rights, hastens to pay tribute to China. Germany, supposedly a moral force, is so dependent on cheap Russian raw materials that give it a competitive advantage that it waited unflinchingly for the fall of Kiev. And today this industrial power cannot give much of itself in terms of equipment aid to Ukraine. Well, they don’t, they can’t, and what are you going to do with them?
The supposedly impassable borders that seemed to define politics a few years ago often become landscapes today. The story sped up, the game for position in a new, much more brutal – unfortunately war – world began. Masks also fall off, who attaches great importance to Western values, who represents European values.
At the time of the test, the Poles, who had previously been attacked for opposing the border operation of Lukashenko and Putin, turned out to be real Europeans, ready to open their homes to real war refugees. Much of old Europe was ready to sell Ukraine to Putin’s executioners. These are the facts.
The United States did not disappoint. Once again they save the Europeans from tyranny and disgrace.
The Polish-American alliance, imbued with concrete facts, stabilizes the situation and is an important element of the security of our region and all of Europe. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s ongoing visit to the United States brings further decisions in this direction.

One can also risk the claim that the Polish side has succeeded in dispelling the false image of Poland among the democratic elites. Polish aid to Ukraine, decisive steps towards renewable and nuclear energy, willingness to invest heavily in security and patient explanations why the judicial system in Poland needs to be reformed (the legacy of communism and not a “rule of law”) have led positive changes.
President Joe Biden in Warsaw treated the opposition in Poland as a normal opposition in a democratic state and not as a special “democratic opposition”.

Vice President Kamala Harris, before meeting Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the White House, told journalists:
Poland is a valuable ally, partner and friend; we have a lasting relationship based on common priorities and democratic values. I count on a further strengthening of relations between our countries.
A statement later published on the White House website reads:
The Vice President expressed his appreciation for Poland’s leadership in reducing Europe’s dependence on Russian energy and congratulated the selection of a US technology partner to develop a civilian nuclear energy program that will strengthen our bilateral ties and European energy security, help to address the climate crisis and create thousands of jobs in our countries.
Interestingly enough, as I found out, the US Ambassador to Poland did not participate in the meetings Mark Brzezinskiwhom some even describe as an informal member of staff Rafal Trzaskowski. But this opinion is probably due to a misunderstanding, it is probably just a strong social relationship.
It is worth recalling what the previous US ambassador, Mrs. Trump, said about all these attacks on Poland Georgette Mosbacher:
It is a pity that such words were not uttered during her tenure. Maybe she couldn’t.
German politicians should recognize the importance of the events in Washington. Do they understand that Berlin may soon be left alone in attacks on Poland? By the word “Berlin” I also mean Brussels, because it is clear who is handling these sources of illegal sanctions against our country, currently on the front line (sic!).
The German goals are clear: to install a subservient, not to say puppet, government in Warsaw under the leadership of a specially sent politician. In this way they want to destroy Polish ambition, hamper our development, remove the main obstacle to the building of a German superstate, a new Reich, which is a strong, sovereign Warsaw. But it’s a utopia. There is no climate in Europe for such experiments, there is no place in the world. The Germans have gone mad again, rushing frantically towards a goal that could get them into trouble.
There is still time for them to repent. They turned back from this road.
After the outbreak of the war, the political center of gravity of the continent shifted to Warsaw, of course not alone, with a significant participation of the Polish ruling elites. This is a bonus for consistency, courage, a clear plan, hard work. This is unbearable provoking attacks with media clout and total opposition. Really, if they don’t come to their senses, they’re so alone. Poland, as everything indicates, has endured the avalanches of debates, punishments, convictions, sanctions and blackmail.
In Washington, I hear, they read the polls well. And in Berlin only editorials in German portals.
