Russia’s Ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, said the US sanctions showed Washington’s inability to pursue Moscow’s interests. TASS.

“Washington’s staggering attempts to ‘punish’ Russia only confirm the inability of the local authorities to force our country to renounce the protection of vital national interests,” Antonov said.

He added that the desire to impose new sanctions against Russia will not result in anything other than damaging the commercial reputation of the USA in the world.

On Wednesday, April 12, the US Department of Commerce imposed export restrictions on 28 entities from Russia, Armenia, Spain, China, Malta, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Singapore, Syria, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
