This weekend PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Robert Telus will participate in a meeting with the inhabitants of the Ostrołęka area. It will be dedicated to Polish agriculture, PiS spokesman Rafał Bochenek announced on Wednesday.
When Rafał Bochenek was asked in Polsat News when the head of PiS will return to Poland, he replied that “in the next few days”.
This weekend, President Jarosław Kaczyński will participate in a meeting with residents in the Ostrołęka area. It will be devoted to Polish agriculture
PiS spokesperson said.
He added that “this meeting will also be attended by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Minister (Agriculture and Rural Development) Robert Telus.”
We will talk about challenges for Polish agriculture; we will present our proposals – said Bochenek.
The case of Ukrainian grain
The government wants to address the issue of the influx of Ukrainian grain to Poland and implement a system of subsidies and compensation for farmers in our country, PiS spokesman Rafał Bochenek said on Wednesday. He notes that the government will also raise this issue internationally.
The PiS spokesman was asked in Polsat News on Wednesday whether or not the issue of Ukrainian grain inflows is PiS in the countryside.
The media is increasingly reporting on more companies and institutions associated with opposition politicians – PSL, PO, who imported hundreds of tons of grain into Poland, disrupting the Polish agricultural production market. That is why farmers are protesting today and have a huge problem selling his grain produced in Poland, grain of often better quality
said Bochenek.
As he noted, “As PiS, we will do everything we can to help Polish farmers, to resolve this situation, to export this excess grain from Poland as soon as possible, so that farmers are duly rewarded.”
He explained that the government has introduced a number of financial support solutions that will go directly to Polish farmers so that they do not lose money.
We are also taking some actions related to blocking the supply of another grain and other products to Poland, as this also poses a certain threat in the coming weeks and months.
PiS spokesman said.
Bochenek referred to Donald Tusk’s clip published on Twitter in which the PO leader quoted the head of the Grain and Feed Chamber as saying that “grain (from Ukraine – PAP) will eventually come out of these wagons and come to us will come”. .
There worms can develop and develop, various bacteria and fungi
reported Tusk.
It is very good that Tusk mentioned the Grain and Feed Chamber in this material, because its head is Monika Piątkowska, once an activist of the PSL, who today was in the role of adviser to Mr. (Szymon) Hołownia’s party . She also took part in the round table discussions with Minister Henryk Kowalczyk when the agreement was being negotiated
PiS spokesperson said. He pointed out that “The Grain and Feed Chamber integrates several dozen companies, including several that imported such grain.”
Using this matter politically is hypocrisy. It shows that the opposition, including PSL, does not intend to approach the matter substantively, but wants to cover up the mistakes of people associated with them, i.e. Hołownia, Piątkowska
said Bochenek.
As he noted, “he would expect a position on this from Monika Piątkowska today.”
Meanwhile, for several hours, when these revaluations appeared, she remained silent
– added.
The PiS spokesperson also pointed out that Waldemar Pawlak is “the president of Polskie Młyny, which imported Ukrainian grain to Poland”.
PSL is silent, protests, from various cries from the parliamentary podium, insults and invective against the PiS government, and it turns out that PSL politicians were most involved in this practice
said Bochenek.
He informed that Deputy Minister of Agriculture Janusz “Kowalski handed over today (PSL Chairman) Władysław Kosiak-Kamysz a list of 56 organizations that imported Ukrainian grain, which are most likely also related to PSL.”
I’m waiting for Władysław Kosiniak Kamysz to comment on this list
PiS spokesperson said.
When asked whether there will be agreement on the establishment of a committee of inquiry to investigate the matter, the PiS spokesperson replies that “it is an instrument that can be used in the long-term process”.
However, the problem with the influx of Ukrainian grain must be solved here and now
he noticed.
He noted that “the government wants to address the matter and implement a system of subsidies and compensation for farmers.
According to him, “the problem with grain is the aftermath of the decision of the European Commission regarding the elimination of customs duties and quotas on Ukrainian grain.”
We know that this decision will most likely be extended for another year, which is indeed a major problem
Bochenek conceded.
An overnight decision?
He pointed out that “the EU is responsible for the tightness at our borders and can de facto decide on tariffs and closure or restriction (grain PAP inflow) on a day-to-day basis”. He noted that discussions on this matter are still ongoing.
There is a letter from Prime Minister Morawiecki about the EC’s support for our actions, which we are undertaking together with other countries in Central and Eastern Europe. We’ll see what the effect will be. I hope the EC takes the matter seriously, because we cannot help Ukraine at the expense of our domestic economies
PiS spokesperson said.
We will certainly be seriously lobbying the international arena on this issue
Bochenek assured.
On Wednesday, in an interview with journalists in the Sejm, Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Robert Telus stressed that anyone who wants to defraud Poland “for grain” should be punished. Among other things, he announced that he would like to talk to Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro “about far-reaching sanctions against those who wanted to cheat Poland for grain”.
On Tuesday, Telus indicated in program III of the Polish Radio that we must stop the supply of grain from Ukraine and start the largest possible outflow of grain from Poland; he also indicated that he had an idea to distribute this grain throughout Europe.
