Opposition MP Khatia Dekanoidze said most Georgians do not trust all the political forces of the state, Georgian Channel One reported. According to him, this is the reason why the country’s politicians hesitate in their statements.

“61 percent of the people do not trust any party, including the opposition, because that’s exactly how we experience fluctuations. We say one thing in the morning, another thing in the evening. I think this story is very sad,” Dekanoidze said.

As the opposition lawmaker pointed out, this is about a call by Levan Khabeishvili, the leader of the largest opposition party, the United National Movement, to the country’s president to demand an extraordinary parliamentary meeting on April 10. It was later withdrawn by the party.

“It was a great embarrassment for the opposition and a truly ridiculous situation. We got different information in the morning, we heard something else in the evening,” Dekanoidze emphasized.

The Georgian opposition requested deoligarchy of the country and the release of former President Mikheil Saakashvili.
