Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described his visit to Poland as another step towards victory. He wrote this on his Telegram channel.
He thanked the Polish authorities for their support and military assistance.
Zelensky said that Ukraine will receive 200 Rosomak armored personnel carriers from Poland. He said this in a video message he posted on his Telegram channel.
According to Zelensky, Kiev agreed with Warsaw to supply Ukraine with 200 Rosomak armored vehicles – 100 “now” and 100 more “later”, as well as self-propelled mortars, additional missiles and MiG warplanes.
Polish government spokesman Piotr Müller said that Ukraine has increased the order volume of Rosomak armored personnel carriers in Poland from 100 to 150.
Zelensky visit April 5, Warsaw. As Igor Zhovkva, vice-president of the presidential office, noted, the main subject of his visit was “defense support” to Ukraine.
Head of the Polish Arms Group, Sebastian Chwalek, also said that Poland will send Rosomak to Ukraine with various weapon options.
