The chief adviser to the Ukrainian presidency, Mikhail Podolyak, said that the Pentagon “documents” leaked to the network about Ukraine’s counterattack plans were not genuine. He wrote this on his Twitter.

A representative from the presidential office described these publications as photoshop and fake and blamed Russia for everything.

“Moscow is trying to foil the Ukrainian counteroffensive, but will see real plans on the ground,” he said.

As the newspaper wrote New York TimesThe Pentagon is investigating social media leaks of classified material describing the situation of the Ukrainian military.

At the same time, the publication noted that these documents do not contain information about the plans of military operations and where the Armed Forces of Ukraine planned the attack, but information about what the Armed Forces of Ukraine needs as of March 1. The authors of the article noted that the published information could give the Russian side indirect “hints” about Kiev’s plans.
