China sanctions Reagan Library and Hudson University over Tsang Ing-wen

China has sanctioned the Reagan Presidential Library and Hudson University because of Taiwan’s CEO, Tsang Ing-wen.

“The American side does not mind repeated attacks. [дипломатические] Representations and protests from China insisting on obtaining permission for Tsai Ing-wen, president of the Taiwan region, to “pass” through the United States on March 29-31 and April 4-6 to participate in political events. The People’s Republic of China has decided to take retaliatory measures against the Hudson Institute, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and those responsible.

Previously, a delegation of US congressmen led by Republican Michael McCall, Chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee of the US Congress, reached to Taiwan.

McCall said the US delegation’s visit “signed the Chinese Communist Party a signal that the US supports Taiwan” and that US officials asked Beijing to think twice “before invading Taiwan”.
