Generalitat Valenciana president Ximo Puig’s platform of civic support in light of the regional elections on May 28 was presented at an appointment that took place this Thursday at the Shoe Museum in Elda. Rosario Navalón, ranked sixth in the PSPV-PSOE regional list for the province of Alicante, was present at the meeting and will be the coordinator of the platform in the Medio Vinalopó region.
At the meeting, the investments made by the Council, headed by Ximo Puig, in the region, primarily housing and health, with the expansion of the hospital and the creation of a health centre, were discussed. “There has been a transparent administration and social projects, unlike previous conservative governments that shamed citizens with their waste and corruption,” said author and historical researcher Gerardo Muñoz, who runs the platform. In Alicante, he seeks support for Puig and his continued leadership of the autonomous government in the future.
On the 18th, the regional platform will be introduced in Valencia with the participation of the president. Earlier, on the 12th, Puig will personally meet with the supporter group of the Alicante state platform.
Previous presentations of the platform were held in Alicante, Orihuela, Elche, Alcoy, Ondara and La Vila Joiosa. The group claims the figure of Puig these eight years as head of the Generalitat and seeks to garner broad support at the polls for the regional socialist candidate. “We want votes for Ximo Puig, not for PSPV,” adds Muñoz.
