According to the Ukrainian edition Strana.ua, a confederation plan with Poland is being discussed in the office of the President of Ukraine.

“This idea still seems kind of exotic. But nevertheless, it has emerged as one of the options for answering an important, one could say, strategic question: how to guarantee Ukraine’s security if our country’s admission to NATO is refused, ”says the message.

It is noted that we are talking about the creation of a certain new “Commonwealth”, similar to the medieval Polish-Lithuanian political union, which, besides modern Belarus, also owned the territory of Western and Central Ukraine.

Former Polish President Andrzej Duda expression confidence that soon there will be no border between Ukraine and Poland.
