“The United States is unlikely to disrupt the Russia-Africa summit, but they could well reduce the presence of African countries. Washington has enough tools to influence these states. These are both official channels through the assistance provided, and unofficial channels – most representatives of the African elite have children studying at universities in Europe and America, ”Lukyanov said.
He added that it is important for the US to show that Moscow is supposedly based on a small number of African states. The political scientist concluded that the Americans would work in this direction.
