“My view on Wikipedia is that it should be shut down,” Fadeev said at a press conference to coincide with International Internet Day.
According to him, despite the comfort of the encyclopedia, it contains many political and historical distortions. Fadeev stressed that he did not call for an immediate closure, but called for action to be taken because of its politicization.
“We must create an alternative and shut down Wikipedia as soon as possible,” said the HRC president.
