The head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, Sergei Naryshkin, said that complete trust has been established between the special services of Russia and Belarus. Naryshkin announced this during a meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, reports DEA News.

The head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation described the interaction of the two states as “equal, representing mutual interests.”

“We have something, our Belarusian colleagues have something stronger. In recent years, as the State of the Union, we have seriously strengthened our interaction to detect and stop the external threats our two countries are facing. We have serious action plans in this direction,” he said.

Naryshkin also noted that a joint meeting of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Board and the Belarusian KGB will be held today.

Naryshkin, in his meeting with Lukashenka, said that the USA, the European Union and the United Kingdom try to persuade Georgia will enter the conflict with Russia and open a “second front”. According to him, the West is trying to convince Tbilisi that now is the time for Georgia to regain control over Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
