Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with the broadcast aif.ru He said that at the second Russia-Africa summit to be held in July, the developing industry and critical infrastructure issues in the African continent will be discussed.

Lavrov, Moscow’s St. Petersburg summit as the backbone of cooperation between Russia and Africa.

“Work on its content is being carried out in close collaboration with African friends,” added the diplomat.

It is planned to discuss technology transfer, industrial development and critical infrastructure in Africa.

Particular attention will be paid to Russia’s participation in projects for the digitization of African states and the development of the energy sector. Russia’s projects in agriculture and mining, ensuring food and energy security, will also be discussed.

Lavrov added that this is not a complete list of topics to be covered at the event.

Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia deters African countries are also participating in the summit with Russia.
