Models from Sevres of honesty, such as Grodzki, Nowak, Gawłowski, Karpiński or Baniak, are accused of casting a shadow on the most honest Donald Tusk.
Civic Platform politicians talk a lot about the terrible deeds of those in power, for which – in their opinion – of course they should “sit”. By the way, the militia of the coders at the TVP in Powstańców Warszawy Square also want to put everyone in jail, and although I can understand their hatred of my modest person and the resulting announcements of my arrest, it is difficult to understand why, for example, makeup artists have to “sit” when they leave work. And why do militants (mostly militants) scream their love confessions in their faces? It is a pity that PO politicians do not talk about their colleagues – models of honesty from Sevres.
The latest case of the one who wants to “deploy” is Cezary Tomczyk, vice president of the PO, and in the past even the head of the Parliamentary Club of the Civic Coalition. The most telling thing about Tomczyk, however, is that he was the press spokesman for Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz and her government. This pretty much says it all about Tomczyk, because Mrs. Kopacz could not only appoint, but even find someone who would be a challenge for her, or even a background that could overshadow her, say on the Planck scale (Planck height is 1 .61623 times 10 to the power of minus 35, which is really very little). Due to this close relationship with Mrs. Ewa, Mr. Cezary must have been the one who threw rocks at dinosaurs, which he then reported to his employer, who revealed it to the world.
No matter Tomczyk than Ewa Kopacz and dinosaurs. In the stream of accusations against those in power, nothing is heard from the impeccable colleagues of the accusers. There are many who are fair on the Planck scale, ie fair even on the subatomic level, and come from the PO. It would be a pity not to present these crystal clear characters to show what the ideal is and how many PiS people fail to live up to it.
The most important crystal clear is, of course, the Marshal of the Senate (the rank speaks for itself), Prof. Tomasz Grodzki. The terrible regional prosecutor’s office in Szczecin would accuse him of accepting financial benefits from patients or their relatives during the period when he was the director of the Prof. Sokołowski in Szczecin and the head of the local Department of Thoracic Surgery. These are four allegations of accepting financial benefits – in 2006, 2009 and 2012.
As prosecutors said, “the ongoing investigation includes suspicions of taking actions that may prevent or significantly impede the determination of the criminal origin of fraudulent funds and financial benefits accepted in connection with the performance of public functions. by accepting these funds for the Transplantation Aid Foundation in Szczecin under the guise of voluntary contributions to the Foundation’s statutory objectives.” The total amount of benefits obtained in this way can exceed PLN 1.5 million !
Fortunately, no defamation charges can be brought against the marshal, as he is still protected by immunity, and the majority of the senate can defend freedom and fundamental values that would fall on their faces if fellow senators betrayed Tomasz Grodzki. Therefore, it can be assumed that in March 2021 the regional prosecutor’s office in Szczecin requested permission to prosecute the Marshal of the Senate.
The marshal himself dispelled all doubts: “There have never been any objections to corruption against me. Exactly one day after my election as Senate President, the campaign against me began. The report to the public prosecutor’s office was made by a man who was not even my patient. The CBA hired 100 agents who interviewed 200 people. (…) Meanwhile, my patient came to me and admitted that some people had offered him 5,000. PLN for reporting that I had demanded a bribe from him before the operation. (…) I consider all this a campaign not so much against me as against the Senate of the Republic of Poland to regain the majority of the ruling party, and using undemocratic methods,” said Tomasz Grodzki.
The grand marshal’s dignity is insulted by Prosecutor Artur Maludy, who blurted out that “the marshal’s statements are unfair and inappropriate. It is not true that hundreds of witnesses were questioned. Only 49 people were questioned during the investigation, of whom 20 said that they or their relatives had given money to Tomasz Grodzki.
Łukasz Łapczyński, the spokesperson for the National Prosecutor’s Office, made no sense, claiming that “the Senate’s decision not to agree to the criminal prosecution of the Marshal of this Chamber prevents judicial verification of corruption charges. (…) It is incomprehensible, since the authority of the rule of law requires that one of the country’s most important persons be clear of suspicion.”
Nothing comparable. The authority of the state would suffer from here to the end of the visible universe if the icon of fairness were tarnished. And what if “the events covered by the application took place long before Tomasz Grodzki became involved in political life and have nothing to do with the position he currently holds”. Tomasz Grodzki knew he would be a marshal when he stopped crawling.
Another example of Sevres’ honesty towards PO politicians is Sławomir Nowak, a former transport minister. No honest person understands how the Warsaw Public Prosecutor’s Office could bring charges against him in December 2021. The prosecutor’s office is prosecuting Nowak for leading an international organized crime group active in Warsaw, Gdańsk and Ukraine. No honest person will believe that Sławomir Nowak could have committed 17 crimes of a criminal nature.
A man with such an impeccable reputation as Nowak could not accept such a scrap of PLN 6.1 million. Besides, how can a man so pure be accused of money laundering amounting to almost PLN 8 million, and of crimes? And the allegations that even in Poland “the accused Sławomir N., in exchange for a financial benefit of about PLN 760,000, would undertake to settle the matter by organizing a meeting of representatives of the development company with the Gdańsk city administration” are completely pointless.
Even if Nowak arranged something, it was free, or even paid extra from his own resources. And the accusation that he “instigated a doctor from the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw to issue him medical certificates”, supposedly fake, which he “intended to use to justify his absence from work in Ukraine “, is simply desperate.
The prosecution boasts that it “secured the defendants’ property with a total value of more than PLN 4.6 million, including the property of Sławomir N. amounting to about PLN 1.5 million, securing cash for an amount of about PLN 500,000 and setting up a mandatory mortgage of up to PLN 1 million on the property of Sławomir N. in Gdańsk.” It is definitely money from the whole family’s collection, which we already know when Nowak was accused of not entering an expensive watch in the asset declaration He did not enter it because it was a gift from the family, which is a sentimental matter.
It is outrageous to take 506,200 dollars, 530,200 euros and 30,000 zlotys from the safes. Every prudent saves something for a rainy day. For the same purpose, Sławomir Nowak collected works of art and bought an expensive car, which was then illegally handed over to the border guard. It’s a scandal. This also applies to the activities of the Ukrainian Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). It is a political provocation to transfer files and evidence of all cases related to Sławomir Nowak to Poland. He, as the president of Ukrawtodor, did not take bribes, but worked wonders to create a great infrastructure. No wonder he is free, and it is very unfair that he spent nine months in detention and was released after posting PLN 1 million bail.
Can anyone doubt that the allegations of the National Prosecutor’s Office, which filed an indictment with the court in Szczecin regarding the melioration scandal, in which the senator of the Civic Platform and former secretary general of this party, Stanisław Gawłowski, was made the main defendant ? How could this honest man, as Secretary of State in the PO-PSL government, accept at least 733,000. PLN bribe, two watches and real estate in Croatia? And the charge of money laundering is completely contrary to Gawłowski’s purity of conscience and character. Just like the accusation of plagiarism of the dissertation. Seven charges, including four of corruption, are simply less likely than even Lech Wałęsa winning the top prize in the lottery five weeks in a row.
That is why a member of the party, Marcin Kierwiński, rightly believes that “the allegations against Stanisław Gawłowski and his wife are a political matter”. The size of the bribe is ridiculous – 175,000. zloty in cash, as well as two watches worth PLN 25,000. zloty. Stanisław Gawłowski wouldn’t even stoop for such pennies.
The latest innocent victim is Włodzimierz Karpiński, former finance minister in the PO-PSL government, secretary of the capital Warsaw. As if that were not enough, there are also plans to frame Rafał Baniak, the former deputy finance minister during Karpiński’s time as minister (2011-2015). Karpiński and Baniak wanted the well-being of the citizens of Warsaw, and they demanded no bribes, and 5 million PLN more for rigging tenders. Which setting? Karpiński can’t even arrange himself, let alone some tenders.
And then there is the pre-trial detention for both of them. It could not be an independent court and independent judges under the banner of the Free Courts organization and Igor Tuleya. Because why couldn’t one company win half of the 28 tenders that MPO organized between August 2020 and January 2023. It could, because it was great and deservedly won contracts worth almost PLN 600 million.
I had to remind the flower among PO politicians about honesty, because her boss and other activists are too modest. And they need to remind them daily that their colleagues are victims of the regime, not just corrupt thugs. All this is so sewn that Donald Tusk, the most honest man in the universe, will cast a shadow. Not waiting!
