Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko said that the West is provoking Belgrade in every possible way to get in touch with Ukraine. He said this on the broadcast of the TV channel “Russia 24”.
That’s why the Russian ambassador was asked to comment on Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic’s statement that Belgrade is in solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
After all, it was said that he was on the side of the people, nothing was said about the regime,” he said. “Moreover, despite the fact that the Westerners in every way forced the Serbian leadership into more active contacts with the Kiev regime, which is well known. But I repeat, they are not,” said the Russian diplomat.

He noted that Serbia did not impose sanctions on Russia, the volume of foreign trade between the countries decreased, while it increased in some Western countries that applied sanctions.
