Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that in the updated Foreign Policy Concept of the Russian Federation, the USA is defined as the main chief and initiator of the anti-Russian line, transmits Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
“In general, Western policy aimed at weakening Russia in multiple ways is characterized as a new type of hybrid warfare,” Lavrov said.
According to him, the document reflects the changing geopolitical realities and revolutionary developments on foreign lines accelerated by the start of Russia’s special operations in Ukraine.
On March 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a new version of the concept of foreign policy. He announced this at a meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. The head of state emphasized that radical changes in international life require the country’s leadership to seriously adjust the main strategic planning documents, including the Concept of Foreign Policy of the Russian Federation.
