The study also showed that 71% of respondents believed that the emergence of new politicians in the public sphere would increase confidence in the Russian electoral system.
According to the survey, 38% of respondents want to enter public politics but do not yet see such a “window of opportunity”.
Naumov noted that there is a growing need for new faces, public opinion leaders in the regions before the elections. He believes we only need niche faces known in certain circles, not media faces like actors or athletes.
The deputy believes that parties are trying to attract such people on the eve of the election, special programs and platforms have been created to help them implement their ideas.
