Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said President Vladimir Putin has “iron nerves”. He talked about it in an interview published in the magazine. telegraph channel journalist Pavel Zarubin.
Khusnullin accompanied the Russian leader on his March 19 tour to Mariupol. He noted that the President’s visit was a great surprise for the residents of the city.
“I want to say they have iron nerves,” said Khusnullin.
Putin flew to Mariupol by helicopter, then got behind the wheel of a car and toured various districts of the city. He met with the inhabitants of the Nevsky microdistrict, studied the house, the Mariupol coastline, the theater building and other places of the city.
Husnullin saidthat this trip is an “absolute improvisation”.
Later, when Putin was asked by a journalist why he was going to an unsafe area, answeredit was important for him to feel the mood of the people living there, as this was a long overdue “all study trip”.
