“Unemployment in Russia is at an all-time low. In this case, however, this does not mean that all problems in the labor market have been resolved. In general, there are questions about the quality of the work,” he said.
He pointed out that the unemployment rate in some regions and settlements remained above the national average. Putin said that in some enterprises where production has fallen, employees have a partial workload, they work part-time, which negatively affects their salaries.
Putin emphasized that, on average, real incomes in the country increased, but this did not occur in certain areas in certain regions. He announced that the national project on labor productivity should be expanded and asked the authorities to take more active steps in this area.
