The Russian delegation at the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva described the USA and NATO as the greatest threat to the whole world because of their proxy war against the Russian Federation. TASS referring to Denis Zhuikov, representative of the delegation.
“The most severe threat to peace and security <…> It is run by the US and NATO nuclear bloc,” he said.
According to Zhuikov, this could be fraught with a global nuclear conflict, and the subsequent involvement of the US, UK and France in an armed conflict in Ukraine could result in a direct confrontation between the nuclear powers.
He described the USA as the main instigator of international conflicts and emphasized that the crisis in Ukraine was initiated and fueled by the American authorities.
Zhuikov also pointed out that the approach of the North Atlantic Alliance to the borders of the Union State of the Russian Federation and Belarus has increased the tension in Europe.
