RT: NATO will examine the Russian Federation’s communications strategy during a special operation

NATO Strategic Communications Center of Excellence (NATO StratCom COE) plans to hold two tenders to study the Russian Federation’s communication strategies in connection with a special operation in Ukraine. It has been reported RT.

NATO is concerned with how information will be provided to Russian citizens as well as residents of Asia, Africa and Latin America.

In the first tender, the artists will examine “Russia’s communication strategy to support military operations in Ukraine” and its impact on the audience.

“The research division will allow us to determine how Russia carries out strategic communications with various internal audience groups …” the agency cites information from the document.

Interested in the alliance for the period April 1 – December 31, 2022.

It is planned to study Russian TV programs, statements of officials and broadcasts on Telegram channels.

The second tender of the NATO headquarters focuses on the analysis of Russian “information operations” outside the Western information environment.
