Another Ukrainian soldier died Friday – a Polish citizen, and two wounded a few days ago are still in a serious condition, Michał Dworczyk, the Prime Minister’s Chancellery Minister, announced on social media on Friday.
In an interview with PAP, Dworczyk noted that the two wounded soldiers – also Polish citizens – are in a condition that currently prevents their transportation.
The minister also said that one of the volunteers injured in Ukraine last week has reached Poland and the other has been transported from the Dnieper to Kiev.
A slightly injured volunteer reached Poland. The volunteer, seriously injured, was transported from the Dnieper to Kiev. Unfortunately, now is not a good time. Another Ukrainian soldier, a Polish citizen, died today, and two wounded a few days ago are still in bad shape
Dworczyk wrote on Twitter. He also thanked the humanitarian and medical aid team.
The Polish aid initiative Nehemiasz also announced that one of the volunteers (slightly injured) is already in Poland. It was noted that the second volunteer will be transported to another city in Ukraine for further treatment and subsequent evacuation to Poland. As highlighted, his condition is still described as serious but stable and the evacuation is being monitored by the Humanitarian and Medical Relief Team, who are also in constant contact with the families of both volunteers.

The Nehemiah Initiative informed PAP about the case of injured volunteers last Saturday. According to the information provided by them, on March 14, a crew of two experienced volunteers left for the Donetsk region to help a Ukrainian NGO, in cooperation with whom they handed over gifts on the spot.
During the last stop there was a rocket fire and both volunteers were injured. They were immediately evacuated in accordance with medical procedures. Both are in hospital, far from the front lines (…) Both volunteers are injured: one is slightly injured, the other in a serious but stable condition
the initiative said in a statement.
The adviser to the head of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine, Anton Herashchenko, announced that the car in which two Polish citizens were traveling was hit by a Russian missile as they were heading for the Donetsk region’s town of Chasiv Yar.
A Russian missile hit a bus carrying Polish volunteers bringing humanitarian aid to Czasiv Jaru. Two volunteers were injured. One of them has been evacuated by the Life Saving Center to a hospital in (city) Dnipro. I wish you a full and speedy recovery
