US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken believes that Baku and Yerevan can soon agree on peace. He announced this at a hearing in the Congressional Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

He stated that he was actively interested in the solution problem between Azerbaijan and Armenia and helped the parties to reach a peace agreement.
According to Blinken, the agreement may reflect the rights of ethnic Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh, in particular, and the demarcation of borders.
“We are responding to the strong desire expressed by Armenia, who wants to see if we can help them reach an agreement that will in many ways end a conflict that has been going on for more than 30 years,” said the Foreign Minister.
