“Poland is being listened to and our demands are being implemented,” said Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk on the program “Gość Wiadomości”.
The Minister of European Affairs spoke about Poland’s priorities ahead of the European Council summit.
Our priorities remain unchanged. (…) We succeeded in mobilizing other EU countries for military support, mobilizing those EU countries that were not convinced to make a political decision to pave the way for Ukraine’s accession. (…) We will strive at the summit for sanctions to be extended not every six months, but every year. We will strive for Poland to receive more money for migration management, because we have done a lot in this area. We are one of the countries that have made a huge effort and we deserve European funds to serve us better

According to him, the EU increasingly speaks with a Polish voice.
This change can be seen after the aggression against Ukraine, when it turned out that Poland was right when it warned about Russia’s aggression and said that Europe should not become dependent on Russia for energy. Poland is being listened to and our demands are being carried out
