US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the US President’s administration plans to prepare a strategy for the Black Sea region, including political and economic components, by June. It has been reported TASS.

“I think the bill has a deadline, which is June. We will have it ready by this time,” Blinken stressed.

He noted that three of the six countries with access to the Black Sea are members of the North Atlantic Alliance and that Ukraine is an “important friend of the United States”.

Blinken emphasized that due to these factors, the strategy of the Black Sea region will focus not only on security aspects, but also on intensifying economic cooperation, intensifying political interaction with these countries, including strengthening energy security.
