Russian President Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with the head of the United Russia faction, Vladimir Vasilyev, and expressed his gratitude to the party for its “absolutely patriotic stance” on international affairs. It has been reported TASS.
“I am very grateful to the faction for the position it has taken,” said Putin.
The Russian president added that he is pleased to discuss with Vasiliev the current work and the tasks that United Russia has set for him in the future.
During the meeting, the Russian leader also drew attention to the great work of his party in the parliament.
According to Putin, the faction is formulating numerous initiatives in the most important areas of socio-economic development, the protection of the rights of Russian citizens and the development of the social sphere as a whole.
Earlier, on the sidelines of the Ticket to the Future career guidance festival in Yekaterinburg, Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova said of Vladimir Putin: supported proposal to grant special status to children injured during a special military operation.
