Plans to deliver one million ammunition to Kiev will be discussed at EU summit

Countries participating in the EU summit will consider expanding the EU’s military production capacity and a plan to supply 1 million shells to Ukraine over the next 12 months at a meeting to be held on March 23 and 24. “Since our last meeting in February, we have been working to urgently increase our ammunition production and supply to Ukraine. Our goal is to provide 1 million shells to Kiev within 12 months and secure adequate financing,” he said.

Michel noted that EU countries should take measures to increase the production capacity of the industry in the defense sector.

He also added that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will speak online before the summit in front of the heads of EU countries.
