When Rafał Ziemkiewicz and Jacek Saryusz-Wolski recommend a text from the gazeta.pl portal, it must be admitted that the matter deserves attention. Grzegorz Sroczyński’s remark, in which he put five questions to the opposition, caused a lot of confusion, and at the same time … hatred from the hard-line electorate.
Interesting text (and most interesting, how it appeared by a miracle). Although the author apparently did not notice that Tusk had already answered his doubts: he would collect “strong people” and drive out all state institutions, like Lenin with his “mariacs” the Constituent Assembly.
Ziemkiewicz wrote on Twitter.
A difficult question for the opposition is posed by Grzegorz Sroczyński, a journalist from gazeta.pl, who is on the side of the opposition, apparently even its supporters have doubts.
– noted the PiS MEP.
Sroczynski scores the opponent and Tusk
It concerns the text of the left-wing journalist Grzegorz Sroczyński, who for the first time stuck a needle in the opposition.
I wonder how Donald Tusk, as the new old prime minister, will explain to voters that Michał Rachoń will still be the main face of TVP Info one year after the election. Because there’s no indication there’s any real plan to take PiS off power anywhere
– wrote Sroczyński on the pages of gazeta.pl. The text was published a few days ago, but it is still being talked about a lot!
The journalist hit him evenly, all sides of the political and media conflict were hit.
The worst is when we start treating Polish politics as a war between good and evil. PiS and PO want to involve us unanimously, especially in the election year. So we will be convinced that the stake of these elections is democracy itself or Polishness itself, tradition, freedom, the noble will fight the bad and the wise against the stupid. Politicians quietly know that the war between good and evil is a hoax, in private conversations they are not as principled and intensified as on TVN24 or on Twitter
we are reading. Using stadium comparisons, Sroczyński also criticized journalists, commentators and columnists, calling them “the hottest fans” who “incite the wildest brawls” and “Poles have been dragged to the stadium razor”. So the author calls it all “sham”:
If anyone is counting on catharsis in October 2023, the final confrontation and defeat of the dragon – it doesn’t matter which side of this dragon he sees – be prepared for disappointment. So instead of waiting for more outbursts of moral correctness from the opposition, we should demand answers to five commonplace questions.
Question about “stripping” and TVP
What are these questions? The first concerns TVP and the change of “strip”. Sroczyński showed that it wouldn’t be that easy.
When Mr. Nitras tells a joke about Kaczyński, there are none strong, like Donald Tusk tweets about the “cell plus” program – kneel nations, when Giertych and Sienkiewicz release a series of comments, it is “ploughed”, “cleaned up” and ” they told it like it is!”. This daily threshing of anti-PiS hides the obvious fact that Donald Tusk has no idea how to govern post-election. (…) There is no indication that there is any real plan to take PiS off power anywhere
said Sroczynski.
How are you going to rule and “despise” under such circumstances? Any ideas? You don’t want to reveal them because they are so good that Kaczyński gets scared and immediately closes all the holes? Okay, maybe the toughest voters will buy such an answer, but then at least show that there is a cross-party team working on the opposition, who understands all this, there are experts in it, the head of the team is Iksiński or Igrekowska. Do you have such? Scribbles about the “new media order” and “Plowing up TVP Info” mean absolutely nothing if you don’t have a real plan for making such changes. By the way, it is interesting how Donald Tusk as the new old prime minister will explain to the voters that one year after the elections, Michał Rachoń will be the main face of TVPInfo.
he pointed it out.
“An example of an absolute failure of your communication”
In his text, Sroczyński also asked opposition politicians whether they would cut spending after winning the elections.
The continued projections of fiscal catastrophe by opposition politicians and economists supporting the opposition – “another Greece”, “another Turkey”, “another Argentina” – are a clear signal to many Poles that they are lean after the elections. and will be hungry. As a result, 49 percent of the population believes the opposition will liquidate social programs after taking power (United Surveys for WP). This is an example of an absolute failure of your communication, because every now and then someone comes from your corner and repeats that 500 plus is sacred. Why don’t people believe?
– He wrote.
Germany, foreign policy and Sikorski’s jest
There is one more question, this time about… Germany and a heavy dose of foreign policy criticism from Civic Platform.
The balance of power in Europe needs a serious adjustment and a longer quarantine for Germany, which is complicit in Putin’s aggression. Can you – this is mainly a question for the PO and the SLD environment – admit that you trusted the Germans too much? Instead of scaring us with Sikorski’s incompetence and buffoonery, can you find new people to run foreign policy who understand reality better? Will you manage to put together a coalition of states in the EU that will provide a reasonable counterbalance to Germany? I would like to know (and I think this is important to many voters) whether the war in Ukraine has dispelled your foolish belief that you just follow the mainstream in the EU and the rest will take care of itself. It has never been true, but it is even less true now
we are reading.
Sroczyński’s last question has been understood by both the rulers and the opposition.
I would like to know if the opposition has an idea to program the border services so that no more people die? This would not mean opening the border, as the right wing tells us, but a certain plan and idea. I don’t believe the story, “If we take PiS off power, the problem will go away.” You answer almost everything like that, and that’s not enough for voters
wrote the author.
The voters of the extreme opposition did not like it
Criticism of TVP and the situation at the border? Finally, it is written by a publicist from a portal owned by Agora. No wonder. But Grzegorz Sroczyński had the courage to hit the opposition so hard, citing Donald Tusk himself. Someone will ask why courage? Because what happened to the author and other commentators, who can hardly be accused of PiS sympathies, can safely be called a lynching in the camp. Such an experienced journalist could have expected it, and yet he published his text. Hardened representatives of the opposition voters didn’t like it much…
Looking at the comments, a few more such texts and Grzegorz Sroczyński will have to be protected.
DISGUSTING text, because editor Sroczyński stated that “politics cannot be treated as a battle between good and evil”. Scandalous. How dare he, dear ones?
It’s really amazing what a cesspool can spill for a tweet that Grzegorz Sroczyński wrote an excellent text.
I read Sroczynski’s text. Here I agreed, there I didn’t, there I shook my head that people wouldn’t swallow it because then they would have to leave the bank. But I don’t understand the storm over this text – do you really prefer lyrics that don’t make you think? Then read the village. Or Lisa.
