Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed new sanctions on 141 legal entities from Russia and Iran, according to his office’s website.

Sanctions are applied for a period of ten years. It ensures the blocking of assets, restricts the execution of commercial transactions, stops the fulfillment of economic and financial obligations, and prohibits the transfer of technology.

Former President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky introduced Personal sanctions against his Syrian counterpart, Bashar Assad. The decree was published on the official website of the President of Ukraine.

The decree on new sanctions against Ukraine entered into force from the day of its publication.

On March 11, Ukraine imposed sanctions on 120 people, including citizens of the Russian Federation, Cyprus, England, Poland, Armenia, Turkey and the Netherlands. They’ve been on the sanctions list for 50 years.
