Jarosław Kurski – the current editor-in-chief of “Gazeta Wyborcza” – announces an investigation that will shake the Polish opposition.
The results of this poll come as a dramatic surprise.
– shouts the deputy editor-in-chief of Gazeta Wyborcza.
It is about “a great, citizen election poll from Long Table Forum Foundation”as Kurski writes – a professional study on four samples of over a thousand, conducted by a certified Kantar Public studio, not commissioned by any party and for the money of the party, conceived and funded by citizens and for citizens.
The poll was supposed to answer the question: will it be possible to beat PiS if the Democrats of four, three, two or one joint list go to the election?
Who knows if [ten sondaż] is not the last wake-up call for the Democrats
asks Kurski. However, he did not disclose the results of the poll. He promises to present his results in Monday’s “Wyborcza”. However, he does not hide his dissatisfaction with the poll.
One thing is certain, none of the opposition leaders will ever be able to say that they “didn’t know” what was going to happen, or that they “didn’t expect”
— he warns and points out directly to those who resist remote control:
And by the way, the Democrats must go to the elections united!

The concept of a “big, citizens’ election poll of the Forum Long Table Foundation” is more than interesting. Either it’s an unprofessional survey (perhaps an unrepresentative survey?) or it’s just a PR ploy, and the survey won’t be any different from other surveys of this type.
We know their results: on paper, the grand coalition of opposition parties (PO, Poland 2050, Left, PSL) wins elections easily and gains a majority in parliament. This is a concept promoted by both Donald Tusk and Gazeta Wyborcza. And at the same time a concept that is both an opportunity and a trap for the opposition. The conglomeration of such a broad political camp looks nice in the paper, but in practice this conglomerate can be disastrous. For obvious reasons: voters don’t connect like numbers in math. Theoretically, Poland 2050 and PSL are an ideal pair, since the former operates in the city and the latter in the countryside, but in fact such a constellation will create many problems. If only because the voters of the People’s Party, Szymon Hołownia are very annoying and annoying. The final result of the Poland 2050 coalition and PSL will therefore be lower than the study shows.
If the Great Cluster of the entire opposition were against the United Right, there would be more such side effects. The joint list is thus an apparent solution to the problems of the camp of the Third Polish Republic, and the emphasis on such a solution stems from two factors. First, it strengthens Donald Tusk, which is why the clique of the leader of the Third Republic of Poland is so active in this game. Second, it should ease the fears and stress of opposition media journalists who, let’s face it, usually know very little about politics.
Irrespective of whether there is one list or several, Poland will fight for everything and it will not be possible to settle it with any Big Cluster. It’s an illusion, it’s fiction. But Jarosław Kurski’s nervousness is remarkable because it tells us a lot about the uneasiness that will grip the helmsmen of the opposition media orchestra. He was right, because PiS is really moving towards another term. He has won the winter and in every important area he has a very good starting position. The editors of “Gazeta Wyborcza” – although they know nothing about politics – have a good feeling. Regardless of whether there will be one opposition list, the Great Conglomerate, or several, the Poles will not entrust Poland to people who do not understand, appreciate or care about Poland.
