Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson asked Six questions about the situation in Ukraine to members of the Republican Party who want to participate in the 2024 elections. Among those who responded was former US President Donald Trump.
Asked whether he sees the conflict between Russia and Ukraine as a vital national strategic interest of the United States, Trump answered “no”. However, he’s sure this issue is for Europe, so “it should pay much more or the same than the US.”
According to him, the purpose of the US in Ukraine is “to help Europe and ensure its security, but Europe does not help itself.” The former president believes this is “very unfair”, as the US largely pays the bills, and Europe “(Americans – socialbites.ca) use it in commerce and other things.”
Talking about the limit of funds and financial resources that the United States will be ready to send to Kiev if it wins the 2024 presidential election, Trump stressed that it will “largely depend on his meeting with Putin”. At the same time, he added, Europe “must pay”.
“Both sides (Russia and Ukraine – socialbites.ca) are tired and ready to make a deal. Meetings must begin immediately, there is no free time. Death and destruction must end right now, ”says the former US president confidently.
When asked whether the United States should support regime change in Russia, he firmly answered “no”.
“We have to support regime change in the US, it’s much more important. “It is the Biden administration that got us into this trouble,” he said.
Trump also acknowledges that the Russian economy and currency is stronger than before the start of military special operations in Ukraine, and believes that anti-Russian sanctions are “not effective, but on the contrary.”
Asked whether he believes the United States is at risk of starting a nuclear war with Russia, Trump said, “It depends on who the President of the United States is.” however, he is “absolutely” confident that this risk has increased under President Biden.
“We will agree with Putin and Zelensky in 24 hours”
It was learned that on November 16 last year, Trump decided to run for the US presidential election in 2024.
“To make America great and glorious again, I am announcing my candidacy for president of the United States tonight,” Trump said at his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida.

On March 4, Trump reiterated that if he were re-elected as president, resolving the conflict in Ukraine “would not be difficult”.

And the day before, the politician called himself the only candidate for American leadership who could prevent a third world war.
