“he wanted [Donald Tusk – red.] Forcing Poland to go to 67, while making clever use of the opportunities offered by the European pension. Please, what a crafter! He would like to get citizens to work longer, but if there are opportunities to look after his own interests, he will not hesitate to use them, PiS MEP Jadwiga Wiśniewska told the wPolityce.pl portal.
Tusk and his European pension
The publication of the daily newspaper “Fakt” about the high European pension of Civic Platform leader Donald Tusk caused a lot of controversy in Poland.
According to the newspaper’s findings, the former Prime Minister, who served as President of the European Council from 2014 to 2019, has been receiving a European pension of around PLN 4,600 since April 2022. euros per month gross, so approximately 21 thousand. PLN gross.
Perhaps the problem is not in the amount of the benefit itself, because we are talking about a high position in Brussels. The most interesting thing about the whole thing, however, is that Donald Tusk decided to retire at 65, although it was his administration that raised the retirement age, contrary to previous promises.
“He is constantly carrying out the mission described in the words ‘Polishness is abnormality’”
We asked MEP Jadwiga Wiśniewska for a comment on this matter.
He wanted to force the Poles to reach the age of 67 and meanwhile made clever use of the opportunities offered by the European pension. Please, what a crafter! He would like to get citizens to work longer, but if there are opportunities to represent his own interests, he will not hesitate to use them.
says our interlocutor.
I remember very well the words of Donald Tusk at the conference in Katowice. When asked if he planned to move to Brussels, he said there was no greater honor for him than the office of Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland. Literally a few weeks after that statement… he packed up and left for Brussels
he adds.
And that at least in this Brussels he would try to serve Poland well. Unfortunately, he continued to carry out this mission, described in the famous words “Polishness is abnormal”. Unfortunately, it guides him throughout his political life
says Wisniewska.
“Donald Tusk was the prime minister of Polish poverty
A week ago, at a meeting with voters in Rokietnica near Poznań, Tusk boasted that he received a “high European pension”. In this way he tried to convince that his return to Polish politics was not motivated by financial considerations or new positions. Instead, he tries to portray himself as a “rescuer”. The PO leader has also recently become extremely sensitive to Poland’s poverty, high prices and all sorts of problems. However, most of these problems he did not notice when he himself was in power, and both Donald Tusk himself and the politicians of his party often spoke in a rather arrogant and disrespectful way, for example about the poverty of Polish children.
Donald Tusk was the prime minister of Polish poverty. And poverty in Poland then had the face of a child. This was also confirmed by Eurostat data. Working on junk contracts for PLN 4-5 per hour – we don’t remember his sensitivity from that period. On the contrary, his fellow party members sent children to sorrel and mirabelles at the time
– PiS MEP tells us.
During the election campaign, Donald Tusk is ready to say literally anything to please the voters. He will lie about everything. And then he shrugs and says in the words of his former finance minister: “There is no money and there will be none” or with his own: “I did not elect you mayor”, “I have no button with the inscription ‘low prices’”, “Where are the billions buried?”. So he will mock the Poles, as always
– points to Jadwiga Wisniewska.
Don’t believe his disguise. Donald Tusk dresses up in different costumes, pretending to be a sensitive, empathetic man. But when he was in power, that was absolutely not visible. The Polish state, as his ministers said, existed only in theory
– emphasizes the PiS politician.
“A man who cannot be trusted at all”
The reactions of politicians and opposition supporters who remind Donald Tusk of various mistakes in his policies, which may even affect the current political or economic situation, show that their memory is, if not weak, at least quite selective. An example is the policy towards Russia and the situation surrounding the film “Our Man in Warsaw”. Is this what the chairman of the Civic Platform is counting on – also in other aspects of the functioning of the Polish state?
Donald Tusk is a man who cannot be trusted at all. I believe in the wisdom of Poland, because if we thought today what Poland would look like, if during COVID or during the barbaric war that Russia waged against Ukraine, Tusk was in power in our country, we would find ourselves in a catastrophic situation are located. And the Poles know it
– assesses MEP Wiśniewska.
Anyway, Tusk’s pundits are already saying that everything that hasn’t been privatized should be privatized, that social programs are giving away, and PO politicians are defining 13th and 14th pensions as “chunks” and why people give these “chunks.” This shows very clearly the attitude Donald Tusk and his team have towards civilians
– seek attention.
And if we add even a vote on a resolution defending the good name of St. John Paul II, how did the Platform behave then? Like Pontius Pilate. “They washed their hands,” they took out their ballots. They cannot be trusted, but I believe in the wisdom of the Poles
– summarizes the interviewee from wPolityce.pl.
