Ukraine withdraws from agreement with Russia on maintenance of strategic missile systems

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree terminating the agreement with Russia on the warranty service of strategic missile systems. This was reported on the website of the head of state’s office.

“To terminate the Agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on the procedure for the implementation of guarantees and architectural supervision of the operation of strategic missile systems of the Strategic Powers located on its territory,” the text of the decree reads.

It is stated that the agreement between Ukraine and Russia was signed on September 3, 1993 in Yalta.

Earlier, Taras Melnichuk, the representative of the Ukrainian Government in the Verkhovna Rada, appeared Three agreements on border cooperation within Russia, Belarus and the CIS.

Before that, Melnichuk, Ukraine’s shred Agreements with Russia and Belarus on cooperation between countries in the field of aviation search and rescue. It was announced that the agreement with Belarus was signed on March 1, 2017, and the document with Russia was signed on July 12, 2012.
