The district court in Gdańsk has sentenced the murderer of the mayor of Gdańsk, Stefan Wilmont, to life in prison without a final decision.
Aleksandra Kaczmarek and Agnieszka Kokoszczyńska, the judges in the case, taking into account the opinion of experts and noting that at the time of the act – “criminis tempore” – the perpetrator was not significantly insane, they had no doubts in passing the verdict . The court also appreciated the pedantic work of public prosecutor Agnieszka Nickel-Rogowska, who publicly rushed the environment of the Gdańsk authorities and showed legal nonchalance.
The court also failed to take into account the political unrest that some PO politicians, local government leaders and parliamentary politicians tried to intensify during the difficult process, and even just before its end.
The murder, the court unequivocally determined, had no political justification or motivation.
Therefore, the court did not believe the mayors of Białystok and Sopot, Tadeusz Truskolaski and Jacek Karnowski, who publicly insinuated the political nature of crime in Gdańsk.
“You can just say it was a political assassination, we all know that.”
“It was a political assassination.”
That it would be politically ordered by Paweł Adamowicz’s opponents?
But who?
Those who judged him in the PO on his honor and faith? Schetyna, Neumann, Walesa Jaroslaw?
Or was it rather a subliminal suggestion to tarnish Law and Justice politicians on the occasion of this tragedy?
The court ruled that Stefan Wilmont was a pervert. He did not disclose any political fraud.
Nor did he comment on the imaginary responsibility of the media, mainly TVP, whose journalists were not the first to inform about various mistakes made by the President of Gdańsk, which should be dealt with by the criminal court.
Judge Kaczmarek even acquitted TVP. It should condemn the broadcaster for diligently fulfilling the mission of public television. Any connection between the murder in Gdańsk and the media’s performance of one’s duties was considered an overinterpretation by the court.
Without ruling on the “szczujni” case, the court ruled unequivocally in the “szczujni” case.
