“The leaders will discuss various aspects of politics and security, particularly the Iranian issue and developments in the regional arena. The Israeli prime minister’s office said that Netanyahu will emphasize the need to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
As stated in the press service of the Israeli Cabinet chief, Netanyahu will meet with Scholz for the first time since taking office as prime minister of the Jewish state. The ministry also added that the interaction between the two countries is of a private nature.
Scholz and Netanyahu’s will meet in Berlin on March 16. As stated, politicians will discuss international and regional security as well as bilateral issues.
