Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, described the US and EU statements regarding Russia’s stance on the “grain deal” as hypocritical.TASS.
“The initial comments, including by the EU Delegation in Washington and Moscow, in connection with the announcement of Russia’s position on the extension of the “Black Sea Initiative” for Ukrainian food exports, are hypocrisy, unprofessional and a complete distortion of the real facts,” said Zakharova.
White House spokesman Ned Price said recently that the United States does not agree that exceptions to Western sanctions on Russia regarding food and fertilizer exports from Russia do not work.
Stephane Dujarric, previously the representative of the UN Secretary-General declarationthat the organization is focused on expanding the grain deal and is in constant communication with all stakeholders.
As the representative of the organization’s secretary-general points out, the UN is doing everything possible to prevent the “fatal failure” of the grain agreement. At the same time, the contract expires on March 18.
