“We have taken all legal action possible in Poland to enforce justice and punish MEP Janina Ochojska for monstrous, disgusting words towards the state forests and foresters,” said Michał Gzowski, spokesperson for the State Forestry, on television wPolsce. pl, referring to the scandalous words of Janina Ochojska.
Response to Ochojska’s scandalous words
Gzowski pointed out that this is not only a report to the prosecutor’s office, “but also a civil suit for violation of personal rights and for an apology, compensation for those hurtful words spoken towards us.”
We will also call on the European Parliament to take up the matter, and the Ethics Committee to consider this behavior and take appropriate action in this regard.
– said the spokesperson for Staatsbosbeheer.
According to Gzowski, this could be a “broader political action aimed at Polish forests” – in the direction of nature conservation. He recalled that the SF has a hundred-year-old tradition, many generations of foresters take care of nature.
Bureaucrats or pseudo-ecological organizations that deal with ecology in name only, and in fact don’t care about conservation at all, try to force their reasons on us
he pointed it out.
Michał Gzowski recalled the situation in the case of Białowieża Forest.
When the substantive arguments of the late Professor Jan Szyszko and foresters, academic teachers were refuted, when the emotions aroused by ecologists got the better of us, today we have a tragic picture of the Białowieża Forest – it rots, it withers away. A few deciduous species remained there, but everything that was creme de la creme of the forest is dead today. Here we have the hand of European bureaucrats showing how they deal with nature conservation
said an LP spokesperson.

Dangerous actions by the EU against Polish forests
In an issue of early March In its judgment, the Court of Justice of the EU ruled that conservation organizations should have the right to challenge forest management plans in court. The case concerned a complaint against Poland by the European Commission.
Michał Gzowski pointed out that if Poland changes the regulations to administratively challenge the forest management plan, it will lead to forest management blockades.
We will stop producing wood as a raw material. Today the timber industry numbers 500,000. jobs, 3 percent GDP, 40,000 companies in Poland. This is a huge driving force for Polish industry, but also a tasty snack for the economies of other countries that would like to replace the market leader, Poland, in the world and European markets.
said Gzowski.
