“We are submitting a parliamentary bill on social pensions to speed up the solutions that people with disabilities and their carers are waiting for. We want the bill to be processed at the next session of the Sejm,” Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the KO, wrote on Twitter.
It cannot be the case that citizens, who are having a very difficult time in our country, who have faced difficulties from an early age, are invisible to the state and yet have to demand and fight for everything
– she said at a press conference in the Sejm Malgorzata Kidawa-Blonska.
Today I appeal to the PiS government to implement the project of the Civic Coalition to increase the social pension as soon as possible. (…) Representatives of the PiS government speak warmly about the disabled, it is time for action
she said in turn Ivana Hartwich.
Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz pointed out that “the social pension for these children, when they become adults, should be equal to the minimum wage.”
It would be good if the protesting PO MPs, including Iwona Hartwich, who joined KO after the famous first protest of people with disabilities in the Sejm, analyzed what PO had done for people with disabilities and their carers over the 8 year of her reign.
