On the parliamentary resolution in defense of John Paul II, the PSL played in a way in the PiS orchestra – judged the Vice-President of Poland 2050, Michał Kobosko. He also assured that there was no question of creating a joint party with PSL by Szymon Hołownia’s party.
The Vice-President of Poland 2050, Szymona Hołownia, Michał Kobosko was asked on Radio Zet on Monday about the words of the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, Piotr Zgorzelski of PSL, who did not rule out the creation of a joint party of Poland 2050 and PSL in the future.
We are not talking about uniting our parties at all
Kobosko said.
Kobosko pointed out that there is no plan to merge PSL with Poland in 2050.
There are no plans to merge with PSL. We have the order we have. If we lived in an ideal world, Poland 2050 would have to start alone, individually, it would be a plan that our constituents would accept with satisfaction, because we are different. In the research we’ve done, PSL separately, and we hear that in PiS research, such a potential alliance between us and PSL puts us between 15.7 percent and 16 percent. This is a very good starting point to fight for a higher rate
he said.
“We are talking about a possible electoral alliance.”
We are talking about a possible electoral alliance
– he said. He stressed that “there are quite a few differences” between Poland 2050 and PSL.
Such a difference, he added, concerned, for example, the parliamentary resolution in defense of John Paul II, in which, as Kobosko noted, Poland’s 2050 deputies did not participate, “because they felt that this topic was not the reason for writing a special parliamentary resolution.”
Looks like PSL played in the PiS orchestra
he assessed.
If two draft parliamentary resolutions have been combined, there must have been some form of cooperation
he said.
Kobosko admitted that in a possible opposition coalition government, Poland’s 2050 candidate for finance minister could be Paulina Hennig-Kloska, the current head of Poland’s 2050 parliamentary group.
Last Thursday, the Sejm passed a resolution on defending the good name of St. John Paul II. The resolution was passed after the report “Franciszkańska 3”, broadcast on Monday on TVN 24, about what Pope John Paul II knew about cases of pedophilia among priests. The resolution was supported by the PiS and PSL clubs, as well as Konfederacja, Agreement and Kukiz’15 circles.
Kobosko also said that Szymon Hołownia intends to participate in the next presidential election.
Szymon Hołownia contested the presidential election and has already publicly announced his intention to run in 2025. We are talking about elections which are one of the most important if not the most important elections since 1989 i.e. this year’s parliamentary elections
– he said.
