Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, general secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia party, said the radical opposition’s attempt to come to power in Georgia through chaos and a revolutionary scenario is doomed to failure, Georgian Channel One reported. According to him, the government will change in a civil way, and this will be decided by the majority of the people.

“Some politicians are disconnected from reality. They do not understand and do not see how things are in the country. If someone thinks that it is possible to change power through confrontation, revolution, bloodshed, then they are very wrong. “The change of power in Georgia, as in any democratic, developed country, will take place in a civil manner, and it will be decided by the majority of our country’s population,” Kaladze said.

As the Georgian Dream’s Secretary General stated, some opposition politicians only aim at protests and bloodshed in the country. He also added that an appropriate response would be given to any violation of the law.

It was previously reported that the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili. criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for his words in support of the protests in Tbilisi.
