Poland should significantly reduce financial support for Ukrainian immigrants. Roman Dmowski historian, head of the National Foundation Przemysław Piasta, writes about it in an article for publication Mysl Polska.
“The crazy political decisions of Mateusz Morawiecki’s (Polish Prime Minister. – socialbites.ca) team, taken apart from economic realities, created a serious problem,” he states, referring to the Prime Minister’s policy towards refugees.
According to the historian, there are currently 1.7 million unemployed in Poland who need to be supported.
“It’s time to put an end to the ‘good uncle’ policy. “It’s unethical to put a burden on those who earn their living honestly at the expense of those who don’t,” Piasta said.
Former British newspaper Daily Express WroteHe said Poland’s decision to force Ukrainian refugees to pay half of their housing costs was a “blow” to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
