Taras Melnichuk, the representative of the Ukrainian government in the Verkhovna Rada, announced on the Telegram channel that the Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft law on the withdrawal of the country from the agreement with the Russian Federation on cooperation in the control of the Ukraine-Russia border.
The draft law “On the termination of the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the implementation of joint control of persons, vehicles and goods on the Ukrainian-Russian state border” was approved, ”the politician wrote.
Earlier, Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Verkhovna Rada’s reported All agreements on cooperation with Russia in the Sea of u200bu200bAzov, at a meeting held on February 24. The deputy noted that 303 people voted to terminate the agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on cooperation in the use of the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait.
Deputies also voted for Ukraine to withdraw from the Agreement on the Establishment of the Black Sea Maritime Cooperation Group.
