Lukashenka announces arrest of a Ukrainian terrorist and his accomplices

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko announced the arrest of a Ukrainian intelligence officer and his accomplices who attempted to sabotage an A-50 aircraft at Machulishchi airport, during the presentation of state awards and shoulder straps to senior officers. It has been reported “BelTA”.

Lukashenka said the detainee is a Russian with a Ukrainian passport. In 2014, the guy was recruited by the Ukrainian special services.

“Born in Kryvyi Rih, lived in the Crimea… Apparently recruited by the Ukrainian special services in 2014. IT professional or knowledgeable in IT technologies. He was preparing to commit terrorist acts,” he said.

Earlier, a number of publications reported that drones allegedly launched from the Chernihiv and Kiev regions of Ukraine attacked the Machulishchi military airport near Minsk.
