The opposition Conservative People’s Party refused to recognize the victory of the ruling Reform Patria, led by Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, in the Estonian elections held on 5 March, ERR reported. According to Martin Helme, head of the Estonian conservatives, political power does not agree with the results of the vote, especially the electronic part of the elections.

Parliamentary elections were held in Estonia on March 5, according to the results of which the Kallas party took the first place with 32% of the votes. Helme’s Conservatives took second place with 16 percent of the vote, with the party leading during the vote count until the electronic voting results were announced. The centrists and the Eesti 200 party shared the third place with 14% each. At the same time, voter turnout reached 63.3%, the highest figure in the history of the independent republic.
