An investment in the development of people in the least developed countries is an investment in a safe and stable world for all; human development is a particularly important pillar of international architecture, said President Andrzej Duda at the 5th UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries.
The Polish president took part in a high-level thematic panel on investing in people from the least developed countries.

Human development in the least developed countries is not only an investment in these people, but above all in a much safer and more stable world for everyone

The role of education
Duda drew attention to the important role education and training play for the future of societies.
Good teachers and a good curriculum in schools contribute to the development of society and are an investment in our society
he said.
In Poland, we believe that equal access to education is the best tool for people to develop their talents while improving their economic situation
emphasized the president.
He pointed out that Poland has a wide range of scholarships: Stefan Banach, Stanisław Ulam and Ignacy Łukasiewicz, which can also be used by students from least developed countries.
